The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris featured an exciting lineup of sports and events! Athletes competed in 329 different events across 32 sports. Most of these were the "core" Olympic sports that were also part of the 2016 and 2020 Games.

But there were also some special additions! Four optional sports were chosen by the Paris organizers. Breaking, also known as breakdancing, made its very first appearance as an Olympic sport. Skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing also returned after being introduced in the 2020 Games. It was a fantastic display of athletic talent from around the world!
