List of disc golf courses in Canada facts for kids
Disc golf is a fun sport that's a bit like regular golf, but instead of hitting a ball with clubs, you throw a special disc (like a frisbee!) into a target, usually a metal basket. It's played all over the world, and Canada has many places where you can play!
As of early 2020, there were 277 known disc golf courses across Canada. These courses are listed in the official directory of the PDGA, which is like the main organization for disc golf.
In January 2021, the PDGA announced that the Baker Park Disc Golf Course in Calgary, Alberta, was the most popular course in Canada during 2020. This was based on how many games were recorded using an app called U-Disc. It's believed that many more people played at Baker Park than were actually recorded, maybe even ten times more!
