List of rivers of Belarus facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Belarus is a country in Eastern Europe, and it's full of amazing rivers! Rivers are like natural highways for water, flowing across the land and eventually reaching larger bodies of water like seas or oceans. They are super important for many reasons, such as providing water for people and animals, helping with transportation, and creating beautiful landscapes.

In Belarus, rivers are measured in Kilometres (km). We look at two main measurements: the total length of the river from where it starts to where it ends, and how much of that length is actually inside Belarus.
