The Railway's Impact on Growth
A big change happened in 1882. A railway station was built in Zhabinka. This station was on a key railway line. It connected important cities like Warsaw, Brest, and Moscow. The railway helped Zhabinka grow very quickly. In just 20 years, it changed from a small village into a busy town. Many business people moved there because of the new economic opportunities.
Zhabinka During the Polish-Soviet War

After the war, Zhabinka continued to grow. A large sugar factory was built north of the railway line. This led to a new settlement forming around it. Today, Kirov Street is a main road in Zhabinka. It runs from the railway station through the town center. It passes a large square and a park.
People Who Made a Difference
