Birmingham, a city in Alabama, is home to many tall buildings! There are 66 buildings here that are taller than 115 feet (35 meters).
The very tallest building in Birmingham is the 34-story Shipt Tower. It was finished in 1986 and stands 454 feet (138 meters) high. For a while, it was also the tallest building in all of Alabama! But then the RSA Battle House Tower was built in Mobile in 2007.
Birmingham's second-tallest skyscraper is the Regions-Harbert Plaza. It reaches 437 feet (133 meters) into the sky. It has been the second-tallest building since it was completed in 1989. In fact, five of the ten tallest buildings in Alabama are right here in Birmingham!
