The Little Cedar River is a river in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is about 56.7-mile-long (91.2 km), which is about 91.2 kilometers. This river flows through Menominee County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

About the Little Cedar River

The Little Cedar River starts in Meyer Township. This area is in Menominee County. The river begins about 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) northwest of a town called Hermansville.

The river mainly flows south. It passes through Hermansville and then along the western side of Nadeau Township. It also briefly enters Faithorn Township.

The River's Journey

As the Little Cedar River continues its journey, it flows through several towns and villages. It passes through the village of Daggett in Daggett Township. Then, it goes through the city of Stephenson in Stephenson Township.

Finally, the river reaches Mellen Township. Here, it empties into the Menominee River. Much of the Little Cedar River's path runs close to US 41, a major highway.
