Little Greek Fresh Grill is a chain of restaurants that serves Greek-style food. It was started in Florida in 2004 by Sigrid Bratic, who came from Estonia. These restaurants are called "fast-casual," which means you order at a counter, but the food is usually made fresh and brought to your table. By April 2020, there were 44 Little Greek Fresh Grill locations in six different states across the United States.

How Little Greek Started
Sigrid Bratic visited Florida because she wanted to open her own business. She was working in restaurants when she found a small Greek place called Happy Greek that was for sale in Palm Harbor.
On June 1, 2004, Sigrid bought the Happy Greek restaurant. It wasn't doing very well at the time. She made changes to the restaurant, and it started to sell a lot more food! She later changed its name to "Little Greek."
Growing the Business
A man named Nick Vojnovic, who used to be in charge of another restaurant chain called Beef O'Brady's, decided to invest in Little Greek. On April 27, 2011, Sigrid and Nick became partners. Their goal was to open many more Little Greek restaurants as franchises. This means other people could open their own Little Greek restaurants using the same name and recipes. They planned to open them all over the Tampa Bay area and across the US.
In April 2012, the company opened a new type of restaurant. It had a fresh, updated look. By February 2015, Little Greek had grown to 19 locations in Florida, Arkansas, and Texas.
A New Name and More Growth
In 2015, the company decided to change its name to Little Greek Fresh Grill. They also started looking for places to open their first restaurant in Kentucky.
In July 2016, Bryan St.George joined the company. He became the Vice President of Operations and later the Chief Operating Officer. By January 2022, Little Greek Fresh Grill had 46 restaurants. You could find them in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, and Texas.
What's on the Menu?
Little Greek Fresh Grill offers Greek-style food that has been made popular for American tastes. They describe their menu as "Greek-style." When you visit, you order your food at a counter. They often have an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. Greek food is becoming more and more popular, and Little Greek Fresh Grill continues to grow.
