The Story of Little Grunt
The Grunt Tribe lives in a big cave right next to a volcano. One day, Mama Grunt tells Little Grunt that the Ugga-Wugga Tribe is coming over. They are visiting for Sunday brunch the very next day.
Mama Grunt needs eggs to make a big omelette. She asks Little Grunt to find some. Little Grunt searches everywhere, but he cannot find any eggs. There are none to be found anywhere!
Suddenly, he trips over something huge. It is the biggest egg he has ever seen! He carefully pulls it all the way home. He makes sure not to break it. He shows the giant egg to his family. They are all very impressed by his discovery.
The family leaves the egg in front of the warm fire. Then, all the Grunts go to bed for the night. During the night, they all wake up to a loud cracking and breaking sound. They look towards the hearth, where the fire is. There, among the broken eggshells, they find a baby dinosaur!
Little Grunt decides to keep the dinosaur as his pet. He names his new friend "George." This is the start of a very strong and special friendship.
