Ljubomir Kerekeš (born January 16, 1960) is a well-known Croatian actor. He has performed in many films, plays, and television shows. He is famous for his acting skills and has been working since 1980.

Ljubomir Kerekeš: An Actor's Journey
Ljubomir Kerekeš started his acting career in 1980 in his hometown, Varaždin. From 1982 to 1996, he was a part of the theater group at the Croatian National Theatre in Varaždin.
In 1996, he moved to the Kerempuh theater in Zagreb. Two years later, in 1998, he joined the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. He worked there until 2014, when he returned to the National Theatre in Varaždin.
Famous Roles in Film and TV
Besides his theater work, Kerekeš has appeared in many Croatian TV shows and movies. He is best known for his role as Major Aleksa in the very popular 1996 comedy film How the War Started on My Island. This movie is a black comedy.
He also acted alongside the famous American actor Richard Gere. This was in the 2007 action-thriller movie The Hunting Party.
