The Llico River is an important river in southern Chile. It flows through the Llanquihue Province. The river starts in the northeast and flows towards the southwest. It drains water from the eastern side of the Cordillera del Sarao. This mountain range is part of the Chilean Coast Range.
During ancient times, a big ice age event happened in this area. Scientists named this event the Río Llico glaciation. This shows how important the river was even in the distant past.
