Loch Kennard is a freshwater loch (a Scottish word for lake) found in Scotland. It is located in Perth and Kinross, a region in central Scotland. You can find it on Grandtully Hill, deep inside Griffin Forest.

Exploring Loch Kennard's Location
Loch Kennard is completely surrounded by Griffin Forest. This forest is a popular spot for people who enjoy walking and exploring nature. The loch is one of several small lakes hidden within the forest.
What Can You Find Around the Loch?
On the eastern side of Loch Kennard, you can still see the remains of an old boatshed. Long ago, a building called Loch Kennard Lodge stood nearby. It was built in 1870 for people who came to fish. However, the lodge was removed when Griffin Forest was planted.
The Mysterious Island of Loch Kennard
Loch Kennard has a small island. It's almost round, about 18 meters (59 feet) long and 16 meters (52 feet) wide. Scientists are not sure if the island was made by nature or by people.
What's on the Island?
On this island, you can find the ruins of an old building. The walls are almost 0.7 meters (2.3 feet) thick. The building is about 1.7 meters (5.6 feet) tall and 6.3 meters (20.7 feet) long. No one knows for sure what this building was used for in the past.
