Loch Turret is a big freshwater reservoir in Scotland. It is located in a beautiful area called Glen Turret. This loch is about 5.39 miles (8.67 km) northwest of a town called Crieff in Perth and Kinross.
At the northern end of Loch Turret, there's a smaller loch called Lochan Uaine. Water from Lochan Uaine flows into Loch Turret through a stream known as the Turret Burn. The area around the loch is a very popular place for walking and enjoying nature. Further down from the loch, the Turret Burn continues its journey. You can also find the Glenturret distillery nearby, which was built a very long time ago in 1775.
