The Glacier View Dam Idea

Back in the 1940s, there was a plan to build a large dam called the Glacier View Dam near Logging Lake. If built, this dam would have made the lake much deeper, raising its water level by about 50 feet (15 meters). This would have flooded the land to the west of the lake. However, the dam was never built, which helped keep Logging Lake in its natural state.
