Loma Lyns has had a successful music career. In 1990, her song "Red Handed" became a Top 40 hit on the country music charts in Canada. Another one of her songs, "Countin' on You This Time," was a Top 40 hit in Europe.
She also had a popular song in 1998 called "Love Me, I'm Alive." This song was the theme song for the Canadian Special Olympics, an event for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Loma helped write this song with Chuck Labelle.
Loma has performed with many famous country music stars. She has appeared on TV shows like CBC and CTV. She even sang on the last season of the "Tommy Hunter Show" as a rising artist. She also sang backup for the country superstar Colin Raye. Loma has performed at many festivals and clubs across Canada and in the United States.
