Loretta Mae Long, born on October 4, 1938, is an American actress. Many people know her best as Susan Robinson from the TV show Sesame Street. She played Susan from 1969 until 2016. Loretta Long also works as a consultant and speaker, sharing her ideas about different cultures and education.

Loretta Long had a busy career in television and theater. While she was acting on Sesame Street, she also earned her Ph.D. in education in 1973. She appeared in musicals like Guys and Dolls. She also joined other Sesame Street cast members on The Flip Wilson Show.
Early TV Work
Before Sesame Street, Loretta Long was a co-host for a TV show called Soul!. This show was on PBS and featured music, culture, and art. She co-hosted from September to December 1968.
