Lorina Kamburova (born October 25, 1991 – died May 27, 2021) was a talented actress from Bulgaria. She was known for her roles in movies and TV shows, and also for lending her voice to many animated films and series.

Early Life and Education

Lorina Kamburova was born in Varna, Bulgaria. Her father chose her name, Lorina, which means "crowned with a laurel wreath." She had a younger half-sister named Alexandra.

When Lorina was 11 years old, her mother passed away. Her grandmother, Elena, then helped raise her. Later, her father also passed away.

Lorina first performed on stage in Varna when she was just 8 years old. She loved acting from a young age.

In 2014, Lorina graduated from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. This is a famous school for acting and film in Bulgaria. She studied acting for drama theater.

Acting Career

Lorina Kamburova appeared in many films and TV series. Some of her well-known movie roles include Nightworld, Leatherface, and Doom: Annihilation.

On television, she played Liya in the Bulgarian series "Връзки" (which means "Relationships") from 2015 to 2016. She also starred as Anna in "Скъпи наследници" ("Dear Heirs"), a comedy-drama series, in 2018.

In 2012, she appeared in a Turkish TV series called "Riders."

Voice Acting

Lorina was also a very busy voice actress. From 2014 until her death, she gave her voice to many characters in animated films and TV shows.

Music Career

Before becoming a well-known actress, Lorina also explored music. In 2009, when she was 17, she took part in a TV show called "Music Idol." She made it to the final round of the competition.

She was also a singer in a group called Ross’n'Lorina with Rosen Penchev. She appeared in a music video for the song "This Song Is Not For Love" by Stefan Valdobrev.

Death

Lorina Kamburova sadly passed away on May 27, 2021, in a hospital in Moscow, Russia. She was 29 years old. Her death was caused by pneumonia. She was buried in her hometown of Varna, Bulgaria.
