Designing McPike Park in Madison

In 2010, the city of Madison received a special grant. This grant helped them work with Lorna Jordan to design what is now called McPike Park (it used to be Central Park). Jordan's ideas for the park were part of the "Art Approach" in the Central Park Master Plan. This plan described how artworks would be included in the park's design, connecting different areas and systems. Other teams also helped with the design, including Schreiber/Anderson Associates, Ken Saiki Design, and JJR, LLC.
