Los Valdecolmenas is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the province of Cuenca, in the region of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. In 2018, about 75 people lived there.
The name "Valdecolmenas" comes from an older name, "Valle de las Colmenas." This means "Beehive Valley" in English. It's a cool name, right?
There's something very interesting about this place. There are two parts: "Valdecolmenas de Abajo" (Lower Valdecolmenas) and "Valdecolmenas de Arriba" (Upper Valdecolmenas).
