Louis "Lou" Joseph Berberet (November 20, 1929 – April 6, 2004) was an American professional baseball player. He played as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Lou Berberet played for four different teams during his career. These teams included the New York Yankees, Washington Senators, Boston Red Sox, and Detroit Tigers. His career in the big leagues lasted from 1954 to 1960.

Playing in the Major Leagues
Lou Berberet made his MLB debut in 1954 with the New York Yankees. He played for the Yankees for two seasons. After that, he joined the Washington Senators in 1956. He played for the Senators until 1958.
Later in 1958, he moved to the Boston Red Sox. His final team was the Detroit Tigers, where he played from 1959 to 1960. He retired from baseball after the 1960 season.
