Louise Katz was born in Canberra, Australia. She later went to art school in Adelaide. She has a special degree called a Doctor of Creative Arts. This means she studied a lot about writing.
Louise has taught writing at two big universities. These are the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Sydney. She taught students how to write creatively and for school.
Her Books and Stories
Louise Katz published her first book in 1996. It was called Myfanwy's Demon. Her second novel, The Other Face of Janus, came out in 2001. This book was very popular. It won a big award that year.
