Brojeshori Devi was a very dedicated judo player. She took part in many competitions. She competed in 20 international judo championships. She also participated in 16 national championships within India.

She achieved great success in her career. At the international level, she won three gold medals. She also earned one silver medal and three bronze medals.

Brojeshori Devi was part of the Indian team at the 2000 Olympic Games. She competed in the Women's Half-Lightweight category. She performed very well, reaching the Semi-Finals. In that match, she competed against Liu Yuxiang from China.

Passing Away

Sadly, Brojeshori Devi passed away on July 21, 2013. She was in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, at the time. She was only 32 years old when she died.
