The Lower Nicola Indian Band (called Nʔeʔiyk in their language) is a First Nation government. They are part of the Nlaka'pamux people. Their home is in the Central Interior region of British Columbia, a province in Canada.

The main community and offices of the Lower Nicola Indian Band are in a place called Shulus. This area is also known as Lower Nicola. It's about six kilometres west of Merritt, British Columbia. Merritt is a larger town in the area, located between the Lower Mainland and Kamloops.

The Lower Nicola Indian Band is led by a Chief and a group of Councillors. These leaders work together to make important decisions for their community. They help manage the land, resources, and services for their people.

The Lower Nicola Indian Band manages these reserves:

  • Nicola Mameet 1 - This is a large reserve, about 11,350 acres, with 581 residents.
  • Joeyaska 2 - This reserve is 320 acres and has 42 residents.
  • Pipseul 3 - This reserve is 220 acres.
  • Zoht 4 - This reserve is 500 acres and has 35 residents.
  • Zoht 5 - This reserve is 160 acres.
  • Logan's 6 - This is a smaller reserve, 45 acres.
  • Hamilton Creek 7 - This reserve is 4,400 acres and has 42 residents.
  • Speous 8 - This reserve is 280 acres.
  • Zoht 14 - This reserve is 160 acres.
  • Hihium Lake 6 - This reserve is 78 acres and is shared. It is used by the Lower Nicola Band along with the Upper Nicola, Bonaparte, and Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Bands.
