Lubiano is a small village located in the Basque Country, Spain. It's part of the Vitoria area in Álava. In 2022, only 34 people lived there.
History of Lubiano
Lubiano has a long history! It was first written about in the year 1025, where it was called Luviano. It was mentioned again in 1257. Later, in 1332, Lubiano became part of the larger Vitoria area.
Geography and Nature
Lubiano is found in the northeast part of its region. It sits right at the bottom of a mountain called Iturriaga, which is 625 meters (about 2,050 feet) tall. The area around the village is full of big oak tree forests and swampy areas. The ground the village is built on is a type of soil called clay loam.
