Lucina Elena da Costa Gomez-Matheeuws (born April 5, 1929 – died January 7, 2017) was an important politician from the Netherlands Antilles. She was a member of the National People's Party (PNP). She made history by becoming the first female Prime Minister of the Netherlands Antilles. This happened for a short time in 1977. Before that, she served as the Minister of Health and Environment, Welfare, Youth, Sports, Culture and Recreation from 1970 to 1977.
