Lucknerson Junior Mervil (born October 20, 1967) is a talented Haitian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor. He is famous for playing the role of Clopin in the original French and English versions of the musical Notre-Dame-de-Paris.

In the early 1990s, Luck Mervil became well-known as the lead singer of the pop-rock and funk band RudeLuck. His band won a music contest called L’Empire des futures stars. Soon after, he was asked by Luc Plamondon to join the cast of the new musical Notre-Dame-de-Paris.

Luck Mervil also started his film career in 2001. He appeared in the French movie Betty Fisher et autres histoires. He has acted in several other films since then. He also returned to musical theater in Quebec with a show called Génération Motown. Mervil hosted a popular TV show for young people called Mixmania on Vrak-TV. This show was a contest for boy and girl bands. He even won an award for his hosting skills! He also hosted a TV program called Le 3950 on TV5.

Luck Mervil is also known for helping his community. In 2004, when Hurricane Jeanne hit his home country of Haiti, he shared the money from his song "Ti peyi a" to help people. He worked with organizations like CECI and Médecins du Monde Canada. Because of his efforts to bring the Haitian and Quebecer communities together, he was named "Patriot of the Year" by the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society that same year. He released his Creole album Ti Peyi A which included popular songs like "Ti Mari" and "Mezanmi." These songs are now well-loved in Haiti.

Luck Mervil was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. When he was four years old, his family moved to Quebec, Canada. He lived in New York City between the ages of 12 and 17. After that, he moved back to Quebec.

Luck Mervil has recorded many albums. His music includes styles like reggae and rap. He released three albums with his band RudeLuck. Later, he released a solo album in 2000 that was named after himself.

A big part of his career was playing the role of Clopin in the original 1998 musical Notre-Dame de Paris. After this, he appeared on television many times. In 2001, he acted in the movie Betty Fisher et autres histoires.

Luck Mervil has also worked as a spokesperson for the Canadian Centre for International Studies and Cooperation. He also started his own charity organization called Vilaj vilaj.
