What is Lucky Fred About?

The story of Lucky Fred follows a 13-year-old boy named Fred. One day, he sees a robot crash-land from space. This amazing robot can turn into any electronic device Fred can imagine. The robot decides to stick with Fred. Fred names his new robot friend Friday.

However, the robot was actually meant for someone else. It was supposed to go to Fred's next-door neighbor, Brianna Robeaux. Brianna has a secret identity: she is a top secret agent known as Agent Brains. Now, Fred, Brianna, and Friday must work together. Their mission is to protect the planet from alien threats.

Meet the Main Characters

Fred Luckpuig: The Lucky Boy

Frederick "Fred" Luckpuig is a 13-year-old middle school student. He is voiced by Rupert Degas. Fred is always optimistic, cheerful, and full of energy. He is an impulsive and social boy. Like many kids his age, Fred often looks for the easiest way to solve problems. This is especially true when it comes to schoolwork.

Fred always tries his best to impress his friends. He also wants to impress the girl he likes. He is confident in himself and very loyal to Brianna and Friday. Sometimes, when he gets scared, he becomes very nervous. Then he finds it hard to make decisions.

Fred used to have a lot of bad luck. But that changed when Friday came into his life. Friday is a super advanced robot. Fred nicknamed him Friday, perhaps because of Friday the 13th. Even though that day is often seen as unlucky, it brought Fred a lot of good fortune. Fred often carries two dice, one white and one black. He uses them to help him make choices. His favorite saying is "Sweet corn." Fred is also in love with Nora, a girl in his class.

Fred might not seem like the best person to look after a powerful robot. But he would never give up on Friday. He loves his robot friend and takes good care of him. Fred really enjoys spending time with Friday. Imagine having a robot that can turn into a cool 4x4 car for mud racing! Or a friend who can become a drill to explore underground!

Brianna Robeaux: Agent Brains

Brianna Robeaux is Fred's neighbor and best friend. She is voiced by Elizabeth Sankey. Brianna hides a big secret. She is actually "Agent Brains," a member of "The Protectors." Brains is the Protector assigned to Earth. Her job is to stop alien threats before people even know about them.

Agent Brains is truly amazing. She is super smart and very humble. She is also as agile and strong as an Olympic gymnast. She has black belts in every martial art across the galaxy! She learned all these skills at the Academy of Protectors. But she never learned how to be a normal girl.

Now that she is on Earth, she has to pretend to be "Brianna Robeaux." This fake identity is a clumsy, nerdy girl. She often misses school and gets bad grades. Her teachers think she doesn't try hard enough. But when she becomes Brains, she is confident. She shows she is an expert in robots and science.

At school, Brianna feels unsure about human relationships. She doesn't quite understand them. Deep down, Brains wishes she could be like any other girl. She is the daughter of the Super Commander. Even though they don't spend much time together, Brianna loves him very much. She usually calls him "Super Commander." But sometimes she accidentally calls him "Dad." To keep their secret safe, they use robot parents named Robert and Roberta.

Brianna's relationship with Fred is just friendship. But sometimes, when Fred talks to Nora, Brianna seems to get a little upset. This happens in episodes like "Not Ready for Combat." Even though she fights big aliens, she is scared of squirrels! This fear is shown in "Ardillofobia." But she seems to get over it with Fred and Friday's help.

Friday: The Shape-Shifting Robot

Friday's real name is Aniquilator 9-0-9-0-9-0-9. He is voiced by Paul Kaye. Friday is a special robot that can change his shape. He can turn into anything Fred wants him to be. Usually, he becomes something fun. This could be a flying backpack or basketball shoes that help Fred dunk.

Friday loves going to school with Fred. He hides in Fred's backpack, often as a watch or an MP3 player. Friday obeys Fred's commands like a little brother. He does everything Fred says with excitement. Friday acts like a big kid. He is enthusiastic, impulsive, impatient, and playful. For Friday, every day on Earth is an adventure. He explores Fred's world like a kid in a candy store.

Friday is a very advanced machine. But he does have some weaknesses. For example, if he gets wet, he might short-circuit. This can make him act strangely. Also, if he gets too close to a magnet, his memory can be damaged. Friday was designed to be a powerful weapon to protect Earth. He was programmed to obey only his master's voice, which was supposed to be Brains.

When Friday was sent to Earth, a small accident happened. He ended up with Fred instead of landing at Brains' place. However, Brains' father, the Commander of "The Protectors," still thinks everything went as planned. He believes Friday is still under Brains' control.

Commander: Leader of The Protectors

The Commander, also known as Super Commander, is the leader of "The Protectors." He is also Brains' father. He is voiced by Rupert Degas. The Commander is always in space at the Protectors' base. His main job is to tell Brains about her missions. His other duties are not known yet.

He doesn't know that Friday belongs to Fred. Brains is afraid he would be angry if he found out. So, he often suggests that Brains use Friday for missions.
