Lucy Fallon is an English actress born on November 13, 1995. She became very well known for playing the character Bethany Platt in the TV show Coronation Street. She was on the show from 2015 to 2020 and returned in 2023. Her acting in this role won her several important awards.

Early Life and Training
Lucy Fallon was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. She grew up in a nearby town called Cleveleys. From a very young age, Lucy loved performing. She started studying singing, dancing, and drama when she was just two years old.
As she got older, she continued to take private drama classes. She also took special exams from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Lucy went to Hodgson Academy and then to Blackpool Sixth Form College. There, she earned high marks in performing arts. She had chances to study musical theatre at special schools, but she chose not to for financial reasons.
Before becoming a famous actress, Lucy worked in several part-time jobs. She worked at places like Subway, Next, and New Look. She also performed as a dancer in a pantomime show called Sleeping Beauty in Blackpool.
Acting Career
Lucy Fallon started her professional acting career in 2015. She was chosen to play Bethany Platt in the popular TV soap opera Coronation Street. Bethany is the daughter of another character, Sarah Platt. Other child actors had played Bethany before Lucy took over the role.
Lucy was 19 years old when she started playing Bethany, who was supposed to be 14. She got the part after the actress first chosen for the role had given a wrong age. Lucy described Bethany as a "wild child" who was "feisty." Critics praised Lucy's acting skills.
While on Coronation Street, Lucy's character, Bethany, was part of a very serious and important storyline. This story showed how Bethany dealt with difficult situations. Lucy's performance in this storyline was highly praised by many people. She won several awards for her work. These included the Best Actress award at the Inside Soap Awards in 2017. Lucy left Coronation Street in 2020 to try other acting projects. Her last episode aired on March 4, 2020. However, she returned to the show in August 2023. Her character, Bethany, was seen back on screen on New Year's Eve 2023.

Besides Coronation Street, Lucy Fallon has appeared in other TV shows. In 2017, she won the ITV Christmas special All Star Musicals. She sang "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" from the musical Evita. In 2020, she was a contestant on the reality show Don't Rock the Boat.
Lucy also acted in audio dramas. In 2021, she starred as George in the Audible horror series Sour Hall. She also played the main role of Jazz in the BBC Radio 4 drama Jazz and Dice. In 2023, Lucy appeared in the TV miniseries Tom Jones. She played the character Molly Seagrim.

Personal Life
Lucy Fallon has been in a relationship with footballer Ryan Ledson since 2020. They have two children together. Their son was born on January 30, 2023, and their daughter was born on January 11, 2025.
