Lucy Gordon (born May 22, 1980 – died May 20, 2009) was an English actress and model. She became a well-known face for CoverGirl in 1997. After that, she started her acting career.
Her first movie was Perfume in 2001. She then had small parts in movies like Spider-Man 3, Serendipity, and The Four Feathers. Lucy Gordon also played the famous actress and singer Jane Birkin in the movie Gainsbourg. This film was about the singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Sadly, she passed away in her home in Paris just before the movie was released.

Early Life and Education
Lucy Gordon was born in Oxford, England. She went to Oxford High School. In 1997, she successfully completed nine GCSE exams there. After living in New York for several years, she moved to Paris.
Career in Modeling and Acting
While she was still in high school, a talent scout from a modeling agency noticed Lucy. This happened when she and her mother visited a Clothes Show Live exhibition. Soon after, she became one of the main faces for CoverGirl.
She quickly moved into acting. Lucy signed with Select modeling agency in London. Her face appeared on the covers of popular magazines like Italian Glamour and Elle.
Film Roles
Lucy Gordon made her first movie appearance in 2001. She played the character Sarah in the film Perfume. In 2002, she acted alongside Heath Ledger in the movie The Four Feathers. She also played a reporter named Jennifer Dugan in the 2007 superhero film Spider-Man 3.
Gordon took on the role of the actress and singer Jane Birkin in a movie about the life of singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. This film was called Serge Gainsbourg, vie héroïque. It was shown at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and came out in early 2010. Lucy's father, Richard Gordon, shared that she really enjoyed playing Jane Birkin in this film. The movie's director, Joann Sfar, and producers, Marc du Pontavice and Didier Lupfer, released a statement. They said the film "owes a lot to the generosity, gentleness and immense talent of Lucy Gordon."
Later Life
On May 20, 2009, Lucy Gordon passed away in her flat in Paris. This was just two days before her 29th birthday.
