Marc Marie Joseph Raymond du Pontavice (born January 10, 1963) is a talented French animator and businessman. He is well-known for producing many popular animated shows and movies. Some of his most famous works include Oggy and the Cockroaches, The Magician, Space Goofs, and Zig & Sharko.
Marc du Pontavice started his career at Gaumont, a big French film company. In 1990, he helped create Gaumont Television. By 1994, this company began making animated series. It later became Gaumont Multimedia in 1995. After leaving Gaumont, Marc du Pontavice and Alix de Maistre started their own company called Xilam.
