Oggy and the Cockroaches: The Movie (also known as Oggy et les Cafards: Le Film in French) is a fun animated comedy film from France, released on August 7, 2013. It's based on the popular TV series Oggy and the Cockroaches. Just like the show, this movie has no talking! The characters communicate through actions and sounds, making it a great watch for everyone, no matter what language they speak. The film takes you on four amazing adventures through different times in history, all starring Oggy and his pesky cockroach rivals.

Movie Storylines

The movie tells four different stories. Each one shows Oggy and the cockroaches in a new time period.

Oggy Magnon: The Stone Age Adventure

Millions of years ago, in the Stone Age, lived Oggy Magnon. He was a simple cat who loved playing music. But he had a big fear: fire! When he was little, a fire burned him, and he never forgot it.

One day, the village chief had fire, but the sneaky cockroaches, Joey, Marky, and Dee Dee, tried to steal it. Joey sneezed, and the chief thought Oggy was to blame. Oggy and his friend Jack were sent to get fire from a volcano.

On their journey, Oggy met Olivia, a kind cat who lived in a secret flowerhouse. She saved him from danger. Oggy and Olivia started to fall in love. But the cockroaches told Bob, a tough dog, about Olivia's hideout. Bob captured Jack and Olivia.

Oggy had to be brave. Olivia told him that only fire could free them. Even though he was scared, Oggy agreed to save his friends. He used special rocks to make fire and rescued Jack and Olivia. Back in the village, Oggy used his new fire-making skills to bring fire back to his tribe. Because of his bravery, Oggy Magnon became the new village chief!

Prince Oggy: A Royal Tale

Our next story takes us to a beautiful kingdom in 1350. Prince Oggy II was supposed to be a brave leader, but he was a bit clumsy. His father, the King, wanted him to find a princess. But no lady seemed right for him.

Prince Oggy and his commander, Jack, went hunting in a forest. Oggy was looking for a butterfly when they met Olivia, a guardian of the forest. She was upset that Oggy had caught a butterfly. When he let it go, she was happy. Olivia invited Oggy to her home, and they quickly fell in love.

But trouble was brewing! Black Knight Joey, the son of the evil Cockroach King, planned to take over the kingdom. He captured Olivia. It was up to Prince Oggy and Jack to rescue her. They bravely entered the castle and saved Olivia.

After a daring escape, Oggy had to fight Joey one last time. Prince Oggy won the battle! He and Olivia were finally together. The evil cockroaches were locked away, and everyone lived happily ever after.

The Incredible Oggy Watson: A Victorian Mystery

In December 1899, in London, Olivia closed her clock shop. But the cockroaches snuck in and stole a special golden key. They gave it to Joey, their leader.

Meanwhile, at Baker Street, lived Master Detective Jack Holmes and his assistant, Dr. Oggy Watson. Olivia came to them, upset about her stolen key. She explained that her key could open the famous Big Ben clock tower. Oggy instantly liked Olivia and agreed to help.

They found clues that pointed to the cockroaches. The cockroaches even sent them a map and a fake golden key. The map led them to a cockroach at a fish restaurant. The cockroach tricked them, swapping the real golden key for Jack's toy yo-yo.

The detectives and the police went to Trafalgar Square, where they thought the cockroaches' hideout was. They found the cockroaches, but not the key. Later, the cockroaches stole a bomb from the Tower of London and planned to blow up Big Ben!

The police mistakenly arrested Jack, thinking he had the stolen key. Oggy and Olivia realized the cockroaches had framed Jack. They planned a daring jailbreak using Olivia's helicopter. They rescued Jack, but the police chased them.

They soon realized the cockroaches' plan: to blow up Big Ben at midnight on New Year's Eve, right when Queen Victoria was giving a speech! They raced to Big Ben. Olivia tried to stop the bomb, while Oggy and Jack chased the cockroaches. With seconds to spare, Jack stopped the clock's mechanism, giving Olivia just enough time to deactivate the bomb.

The crowd cheered as the new century began safely. Oggy and Olivia shared a happy moment. The cockroaches' plan failed, and they were sent flying by their own fireworks!

Oggy-Wan Kenoggy: A Space Adventure

In a galaxy far, far away, Oggy-Wan Kenoggy had to stop Bob Vader from destroying a planet. Oggy-Wan bravely went to Bob Vader's space station, the Bob Star. He fought the cockroaches, who were working for Bob Vader.

The cockroaches called Bob Vader for help, but he accidentally turned on a laser that blew up their ship! Luckily, Jack Solo appeared and reflected the laser back, destroying Bob Vader's ship instead.

Oggy-Wan was safe, and the planet was saved! The story ends with Oggy and the cockroaches returning to their original forms, ready for more adventures.
