He won gold medals at two different Olympic Games. He won his first gold in 1984 in Los Angeles. His second gold medal came in 1992 in Barcelona.

Who is Luis Doreste Blanco?

Luis Doreste Blanco is one of Spain's most successful Olympic athletes. He was born in the Canary Islands, a great place for sailing. He started sailing at a young age. He became a member of the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria. This is a well-known sailing club in his hometown.
