Luis María Cabello y Lapiedra (born December 28, 1863, in Madrid – died August 15, 1936, in El Escorial) was a Spanish architect. He also wrote about architecture.

Luis María Cabello y Lapiedra had traditional ideas about architecture. He believed buildings should reflect Spanish history and culture. He was similar in his views to other important architects like Enrique María Repullés.
He did not agree with modern architecture, which was a new style at the time. Instead, he wanted to see Spanish buildings designed in a classic, national style.
One of his important works is the building for the Real Academia Nacional de Medicina (Royal National Academy of Medicine).
Luis María Cabello y Lapiedra had a brother named Xavier Cabello Lapiedra, who was a writer.
During the time of the Second Spanish Republic, Luis María Cabello y Lapiedra was involved in politics. He served as the general secretary for a political group called Renovación Española. He passed away during the Spanish Civil War.
