Luke Walsh's Rugby League Journey
Starting with the Newcastle Knights
Luke Walsh began his professional rugby league career with the Newcastle Knights. He became well-known in 2007. This was after the famous player Andrew Johns retired. Also, other players like Jarrod Mullen had injuries.
Luke made his first big game appearance in Round 12. He played as a halfback against the Sydney Roosters. He had an ankle injury that season. At the end of the year, he had surgery on his ankle.
Time with the Penrith Panthers
In March 2009, Luke Walsh signed a contract with the Penrith Panthers. This allowed him to play for them in the 2009 season. In his first game for the Panthers, he wore jersey number 14. He scored the first try against the Gold Coast Titans.

Playing in the Super League
