Luther Alaner Farrell (born July 13, 1893 – died December 1956) was an American baseball player. People often called him "Red". He was a talented pitcher in the Negro leagues. He played baseball from 1919 to 1934. During his career, he played for several teams, but he spent most of his time with the Bacharach Giants.

Playing for the Bacharach Giants
Luther Farrell was a key player for the Bacharach Giants. This team was very successful in the 1920s. They were champions of the Eastern Colored League in both 1926 and 1927.
