Early Life and Acting Dreams

Luz Valdivieso was born in Santiago, Chile. She first attended Colegio Institución Teresiana. After that, she started studying psychology at the University of Chile. However, after two years, she realized her true passion was acting.

She decided to pause her psychology studies to try acting. She joined the School of Teatro de Gustavo Meza. By the end of her first year there, she knew acting was what she wanted to do. She decided to stay and pursue her dream.

Luz Valdivieso has had a busy career in television, especially in telenovelas. These are like long TV dramas or soap operas.

First Telenovela Roles

Her very first telenovela was called Piel Canela. In this show, she played a character named Anita Moreno. After that, she took on a different kind of role.
