Her Education Journey

Lydie Beassemda finished high school in 1989. This is called the baccalauréat in Chad. She then went on to study biology. She earned her first degree from the University of N'Djamena in 1994.

She continued her studies in Nigeria. In 1996, she earned a master's degree from Abdou Moumouni University. Later, she studied in Canada. There, she received two special diplomas in 2009. These diplomas were for food production and development planning. She earned them from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

She also worked with Oxfam Intermon on women's rights from 2009 to 2010.
