Early Life
Growing Up and School
Lynda grew up in Washington, D.C. Her dad, Nate Tait, was a minister and also drove a taxi. She went to public schools until the eighth grade. After that, she attended Riverdale Baptist School. Her choir teacher there encouraged her to develop her singing skills. In 1989, she graduated from Liberty University.
Career
Singing and Ministries
Lynda Randle is famous as a Gaither Homecoming artist. She joined them in 1998 after being invited by Bill Gaither. She has many singing videos that show off her smooth alto voice. Her music is mostly gospel music, especially southern gospel.
Lynda also leads her own organization, Lynda Randle Ministries. It is located in Kansas City, Missouri. On March 21, 2009, Lynda became one of the main artists working with Feed the Children. This organization helps raise money to support children in need.

Lynda Randle also wrote a children's book. It is called Cab Driver’s Daughter. This book tells some stories from her own life.
Personal Life
Lynda Randle is married to Michael Randle. They got married in 1989 and live in Liberty, Missouri. They have two daughters named Patience and Joy. Lynda has four sisters. Her brother is Michael Tait, who is a singer in the bands DC Talk and Newsboys.
Recognition
Lynda Randle's album, A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson, won an award. It received a GMA Dove Award for being the best traditional gospel album.
