Lynda Tait Randle (born on February 7, 1962) is a talented singer known for her deep, rich voice, called an alto. She sings a special kind of music known as southern gospel.

Lynda's Early Life and Music

Lynda Randle grew up in Washington, DC. Her parents were Nate and Maxine Tait. Her father was a minister who also drove a taxi to support their family. Lynda went to public schools until the eighth grade. After that, she attended Riverdale Baptist School. Her choir teacher there saw her amazing singing talent. This teacher encouraged Lynda to develop her solo singing skills even more. Lynda later graduated from Liberty University in 1989.

Her Singing Career

Lynda Randle is very well-known as a Gaither Homecoming artist. She joined them in 1998 after Bill Gaither invited her. She has released many singing videos that show off her smooth alto voice. These videos feature her singing gospel music, especially southern gospel songs.

Lynda also leads her own organization called Lynda Randle Ministries. It is based in Kansas City, Missouri. On March 21, 2009, Lynda became one of the main artists helping Feed the Children. This organization works to get donations to help children in need.

Lynda also wrote a children's book called Cab Driver’s Daughter. This book shares some stories from her own life growing up.

Lynda's Family Life

Lynda Randle is married to Michael Randle. They got married in 1989 and live in Liberty, Missouri. They have two daughters named Patience and Joy. Lynda has four sisters. Her brother is Michael Tait, who was a member of the music groups DC Talk and Newsboys.

Awards and Recognition

Lynda Randle's album, A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson, won a special award. It received a GMA Dove Award for being the best traditional gospel album.
