Lyndon is sometimes called the "Crow Capital of the World." This is because of a past celebration called the Crow Festival. The village even had a real crow as its official mascot, named Rocky the Crow!
Lyndon is also famous for Wright's Easter Egg Hunt. This big event happens every year in Richmond Park. It's one of the largest free Easter egg hunts in Illinois for small towns. In 2018, about 4,000 people came to join the fun!
