Lynne Kelly (born March 1, 1969) is an American author. She writes exciting books for children and young adults. Her first novel, Chained, was published in May 2012.
About Lynne Kelly
Lynne Kelly writes books for middle schoolers and young adults. She was born in Galesburg, Illinois, and grew up in Houston, Texas.
While she was studying psychology at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, she started working as a sign language interpreter. This means she helps people who are deaf or hard of hearing communicate with others. She continued this important work after she finished college.
In 2002, Kelly also became a certified special education teacher. She started writing her first novel, Chained, while teaching in Spring ISD near Houston.
Lynne Kelly still lives in the Houston, Texas area today.
