Mimir was one of the old Norse gods. After his head was chopped off in battle, Odin carried it around. The head told him secrets and offered advice. He has one of Odin's eyes. Mimir is the god of wisdom. He died in the war between the Aesir and Vanir gods.He was the thinking part of Hoenir, the silent god.
