Madarcos (Spanish: [maˈðaɾkos]) is a small town in the Community of Madrid, Spain. It is known for being the town with the fewest people living in it within the Community of Madrid. Madarcos covers an area of about 8.46 square kilometers. It has a population of around 49 people. This means there are about 5.79 people living in each square kilometer.
Exploring Madarcos' Location
Madarcos is located in a beautiful area. It shares its borders with several other towns. To the north and northwest, it borders the towns of Sierra Horcajo. To the east, you'll find Horcajuelo de la Sierra and Prádena del Rincón. Puentes Viejas is to the south, and Gandullas Piñuécar- is to the west.
Within Madarcos, there's a special place called La Nava. It's a desert area located in a small settlement with the same name. You can find La Nava to the southeast of the main town. It's right next to the M-137 road. This road connects Buitrago del Lozoya with Montejo de la Sierra. You'll pass the turn-off for Madarcos to get there.
