History of Camp Madron

Camp Madron was a busy place for many years, helping young boys learn about scouting and the outdoors. However, in the 1980s, the camp was closed down. The land was then sold to private developers.
The New Camp Madron
After the original Boy Scout camp closed, a "new" Camp Madron opened in 1989. This isn't a summer camp anymore. Instead, it's a private community with 49 homes. This community covers about 216 acres of land, offering a peaceful place to live near the lake.
