Magnolia Beach is a small place where people live in King County, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is called an unincorporated community. This means it's not a city or town with its own local government. Instead, the area is managed by the larger King County government.
History of Magnolia Beach
A post office was opened in Magnolia Beach in 1908. This was an important place where people could send and receive mail. The post office served the community for many years, finally closing in 1953.
The name "Magnolia Beach" has an interesting story. It partly came from a family who were among the first people to settle there. They named the new community after their old home, which was a place called Magnolia, Iowa.
