Magnolia Plantation is a historic home built in 1858. It is a private house located near Schriever, Louisiana, about 3 miles (5 km) south of the town. The plantation was built to grow cotton, which was a very important crop for the economy of Terrebonne Parish a long time ago, before the American Civil War.

Magnolia Plantation is a great example of Greek Revival style. This means it looks like ancient Greek temples, with tall columns and grand designs. It is one of only six Greek Revival plantation houses still standing in Terrebonne Parish.
