Magnum Rafael Farias Tavares, known simply as Magnum, is a professional football player from Brazil. He was born on March 24, 1982, in Belém, Brazil. Magnum played as an attacking midfielder, which means he was a player who helped both defend and attack, often creating chances for goals.

He played for several well-known football clubs during his career. These included Brazilian teams like Paysandu, Vitória, and Santos. He also played for teams in Japan and South Korea.

Magnum's Football Journey

Magnum started his football journey in Brazil. He played for clubs like Paysandu from 2002 to 2003. During his time there, he played in 35 games and scored 6 goals. He then moved to Vitória and later had a loan spell at Santos in 2005.

Playing in Japan

In 2006, Magnum moved to Japan to play for Kawasaki Frontale. This was a big step in his career. He played 19 games and scored 4 goals in his first season with them. The next year, he played 19 more games and scored 7 goals. He also helped the team in cup competitions.

After two years with Kawasaki Frontale, Magnum joined Nagoya Grampus in 2008. He stayed with Nagoya Grampus for three seasons until 2010. He was a key player for them, scoring 8 goals in 26 games in 2008. Over his time in Japan, he played a total of 117 league games and scored 25 goals. He also played in various cup matches and Asian competitions.

Later Career and Retirement

After his time in Japan, Magnum played for Ulsan Hyundai in South Korea in 2011. He then returned to Brazil, playing for São Caetano and Remo before ending his professional career.
