Early Life and Music Journey

Magnus Carlsson grew up in a town called Fristad, near Borås, Sweden. He loved music from a young age. He spent six years studying music at the University of Gothenburg. There, he trained to become a music and singing teacher.

In 1992, Magnus joined a Swedish dansband (a type of dance music band) called Barbados. He sang with them for ten years. In 2002, he decided to leave Barbados. Soon after, in December 2002, he joined the pop-dance group Alcazar. His last concert with Barbados was in January 2003.
