Magnus Rosén facts for kids
Klas Magnus Rosén (born in Gothenburg in 1963) is a talented Swedish musician. He is best known as the bassist for the Swedish heavy metal band HammerFall. He played with them from 1997 to 2007.
Magnus Rosén started playing the bass when he was 15 years old. After three years, he went on his first music tour. This was with a band called Kung Sune.
After the tour, Magnus moved to Los Angeles in the USA. There, he played bass in many different bands. When he returned to Sweden, he joined a band called Billionaires Boys Club. In this band, he played with Anders Johansson, who would later join HammerFall with him. Other famous musicians also played in this band.
Magnus is also a solo artist. He has recorded several albums where he plays bass by himself. Sometimes, he goes on solo tours in South America. He donates the money he earns from these tours to help people in need.
In 2007, Magnus decided to leave HammerFall. He wanted to spend more time on his own music projects.
In 2008, Magnus became a member of a group called X-World 5. This group made one experimental album called New Universal Order. In November 2009, Magnus joined a new band called Revolution Renaissance. This band was started by Timo Tolkki, a guitarist from the band Stratovarius.
Rosén also played with Tony Martin's live band, Tony Martin's Headless Cross. Tony Martin was the singer for the famous band Black Sabbath. Their first show was on July 27, 2012, in Birmingham, UK.
In 2015, Magnus Rosén was announced as the new bassist for the Brazilian heavy metal band Shadowside. In 2017, he also joined the Spanish band Avalanch.
Rosén also played with Joe Lynn Turner in 2017. They went on a tour together in Scandinavia.
Magnus Rosén is also a member of The Senior Management. This group includes Göran Edman, Henrik Zetterlund, and Dennis Heltorp.
