Maja Aleksić is a super talented volleyball player from Serbia. She was born on June 6, 1997, in a city called Užice. Maja plays a special position on the court called "middle blocker." She is a very important part of the Serbian women's national volleyball team.

Maja's Volleyball Journey
Maja started her professional volleyball career when she was quite young. She joined her first team, Jedinstvo Uzice, in 2011. She played there for two years, learning and growing her skills.
Playing for Vizura Ruma
From 2013 to 2018, Maja played for Vizura Ruma. This was a big part of her early career. During these years, she became a stronger and more experienced player.
Adventures in Other Countries
After playing in Serbia, Maja moved to play for teams in other countries.
- From 2018 to 2021, she played for CSM Volei Alba Blaj in Romania.
- Then, from 2021 to 2022, she joined Volero Le Cannet in France.
- In 2022 and 2023, Maja played for Megabox Volley Vallefoglia in Italy.
- From 2023 to 2025, she was part of Igor Gorgonzola Novara, also in Italy.
- Starting in 2025, Maja is playing for Zeren Spor Kulübü.
Winning Medals for Serbia
Maja has helped her national team win many important medals in big competitions.
Olympic Games Success
Maja was part of the Serbian team at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. The team played incredibly well and won a bronze medal. This was a huge achievement for Maja and her teammates!
World Championship Victories
Maja has also had amazing success at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship.
- In 2018, her team won the gold medal at the World Championship held in Japan.
- They did it again in 2022, winning another gold medal at the World Championship in the Netherlands and Poland.
European Championship Achievements
The Serbian team, with Maja, has also done very well in the Women's European Volleyball Championship.
- They won a gold medal in 2019 in Turkey.
- In 2023, they earned a silver medal in a championship held across Belgium, Estonia, Germany, and Italy.
FIVB Nations League
Maja also helped her team win a bronze medal at the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League in Ankara. This competition brings together some of the best teams from around the world.
