Early Life and Education
Mali Morris loved art from a young age. She studied art at two important universities. First, she went to Newcastle University from 1963 to 1968. There, she earned a degree in Fine Art. After that, she continued her studies at the University of Reading. She completed her Master of Fine Arts degree there in 1970.
Becoming an Artist
After finishing her studies, Mali Morris began sharing her knowledge. In 1970, she became a teacher at Sunderland College of Art. She taught art to many students.
Later, in 1980, Mali had a special opportunity. She was invited to be an "artist-in-residence" in Cyprus. This means she lived and worked as an artist in the village of Lempa. It was a chance for her to focus on her art in a new place. The artist Stass Paraskos invited her to the Cyprus College of Art.
