Kortney Jamaal Pollard (born January 12, 1988) is a talented American singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is known by his stage name, Mali Music. He grew up in Savannah, Georgia.

Mali Music released his first two albums, The Coming (2008) and The 2econd Coming (2009), on his own. These albums were very popular with critics. In 2011, he became the first inspirational artist to be featured in BET's "Music Matters" series. He later signed with RCA Records. His first big single, "Beautiful," came out in 2012. This led to his third album, Mali Is... (2014). This album was even nominated for a Grammy Award!

Kortney Jamaal Pollard was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He started playing the piano when he was just 5 years old. By age 11, he was already active in his church's music ministry. This early start helped him develop his amazing musical skills.

In 2011, Mali Music signed a short contract with Akon's record label, KonLive Distribution. He has released several albums throughout his career. These include The 2econd Coming (2009), Ready Aim & Beautiful (2013), and Mali Is... (2014).
